Our social Responsibility

At Manchester Staff, we believe in giving back to the city that has shaped us. As proud local experts, our love for Manchester runs deep, and it’s important to us to support both the people and the city itself. We are committed to social responsibility through our green initiatives aimed at protecting the environment and creating a sustainable future.

Additionally, we invest in the next generation by supporting young people in Manchester, helping them reach their full potential. It’s our duty and passion to contribute positively to our community in every way we can.

We plant a tree for every placement!

We’re proud to plant trees with Treeapp, a leading global tree planting organisation operating sites across the world. With a dedication to reforest our planet, their work spans across 5 continents, having reforestation projects across 17+ countries with a specific focus on countries where they’re most needed.

Treeapp is committed to supporting projects which show a tangible impact for people and the planet, with each project supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We’re truly committed to making a positive impact on our planet in everything we do.

We’re super excited to be part of Treeapp’s tree planting initiative and join forces in planting trees together!

We are a live wage employer!

We are thrilled to announce that UK Staffing Group has achieved accreditation from the Living Wage Foundation. This prestigious recognition signifies our commitment to ensuring fair and equitable wages for all our employees. By voluntarily adopting the Living Wage, we aim to provide a standard of living that supports not only the basic needs but also the dignity and well-being of our valued workforce. This accreditation reflects our belief in the principle that hard work should be rewarded with a wage that enables individuals and families to thrive. We are proud to join the growing community of employers who prioritise fair pay, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to create a more just and prosperous society for everyone involved.

Helping young people of Manchester into employment

At Manchester Staff, we are dedicated to helping the young people of Manchester take their first steps toward a successful career. Through a series of workshops held across youth centres, schools, and charities, we provide tailored support to young adults entering the workforce. From CV-building workshops to career discovery sessions and mock interviews, we equip young people with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in today’s job market. If you’re interested in bringing our workshops to your organisation and helping young people on their path to employment, please get in touch—we’d love to collaborate and make a difference together.

One of our own is spending the night outside to raise awareness and funds for young adults at risk of homelessness supporting them back into employment

Rohan Bhangu, our Talent Acquisition Manager, is spending a night outdoors at Anfield Stadium, alongside John Bishop and others, to raise awareness and funds for young people who have experienced homelessness. Across the UK, around 119,000 young adults (aged 16-24) face the risk of homelessness. No one should begin their adult life without basic necessities, yet many are held back from employment simply because they lack a fixed address.

The LFC Foundation provides crucial support, helping these young people get back into work and onto the right path. Rohan has set a goal to raise £250 to support this cause. Join us in cheering him on and helping make a difference for youth homelessness in the North West.

Please support in anyway you can, every bit of support counts! 👏
